About the home *
“Palm Beach Shack” is a well loved single-storey family home in Cape Woolamai just a short walk from the beach and a comfortable drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cape Woolamai. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas *
Entry to the home is into the central open plan Kitchen/Dining Room. The Living room is off this area (with 55' smart tv), as well as the two bedrooms (each with freestanding cupboards/drawers/hanging space), and the bathroom/laundry (with shower, toilet and washing machine).
Outdoor Areas *
The wrap-around deck provides a great space to relax outdoors (with table & chairs for 6-8 people, plus additional bench seats and a gas bbq). There is also a hot/cold outdoor shower and the fully enclosed block with huge garden is perfect for children and pets. The long driveway provides plenty of parking space for 2-3 cars and a boat (please note the garage is not accessible to guests).
Kitchen *
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a sink, fridge, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems *
There is a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in the Living Room that faces the Kitchen/Dining room and heats/cools the home very well. There are also two additional stand-alone heaters and two pedastal fans which can be used where required. Please note: the coonara-style wood heater is not for guest use.
Bedding Configuration *
"Palm Beach Shack" is set up to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Tri-bunk and one Single trundle bed
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen *
A standard booking comes with doonas with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bath mats. Guests can bring their own sheets (flat and fitted) pillow cases and towels or opt to pay extra for this optional linen. The cost to provide optional linen is a once off fee per stay of 30 per king/queen/double bed and 15 per single bed. Please advise us if you would like this additional service.
Peak Periods *
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies *
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
